SAMYRAD: Redesigning education by uniting those who shape it. Action beyond theory.
SAMYRAD FOUNDATION is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing scientific dialogue across academia, industry, and government. With a strong emphasis on triangulating conversations among key stakeholders, SAMYRAD FOUNDATION aims to contribute to reimagining the future of education.
Smart Algorithms & Models: Your Reach to Advanced Dialogues (SAMYRAD) is an annual event that brings the scientific community together to actively engage in ongoing conversations shaping the future of education in light of advances in artificial intelligence.
Each year, SAMYRAD publishes two volumes of proceedings drawn from the scientific contributions submitted to the event. These proceedings include both abstracts and full-length articles. In addition, SAMYRAD partners with leading global publishers to produce selected proceedings from the conference.
With a firm belief in globalization, SAMYRAD maintains a network of scientific contributors from universities in more than 40 countries. This international community forms the core of our advisory panel, technical program committee, editorial board, and academic advocacy network, ensuring diverse perspectives and globally informed dialogue across our initiatives.
The need for academic reform has never been more urgent than it is today. With the rapid advancement of large language models and the proliferation of AI tools, it is no longer reasonable to assume that the future of education will remain unchanged. We see it as our responsibility to rise to this challenge, prepare academics and universities for what lies ahead, and design thoughtful courses of action toward a future of education that is more inclusive, accessible, and resilient.
We actively invite and contribute to the advancement of knowledge at the intersection of artificial intelligence and education, with a specific emphasis on the impact of AI on higher education, workplace development, and lifelong learning, and on how these advances align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals as part of the 2030 Agenda.
